This article connects ordinary language philosophy with ethics of care arguing for an ordinary understanding of moral life, against moral theories founded on universal principles. Linking together these perspectives, it offers a description of morality in terms of forms of life marked by ordinary vulnerability which demands care for, and highlights the ethical and political dimensions of human expression and voice. In this view, it suggests to shift the center of moral reflection from what is just to what is important.
