1006In the monarchies of Norway and Sweden, the relations between State and Church are changing and affecting the spirit of Nordic constitutionalism. Recent reforms of both the Constitution of Norway and the Constitution of Sweden have the scope of limiting the role of the Lutheran Church. In fact, since early on in the history of Scandinavian States, Nordic Constitutions have been deeply rooted in Lutheranism. However, despite the apparent intention of the reformers, the Author argues that these recent developments in Nordic constitutional systems did not provide fora true disestablishement of State-Churches relationships.
