The author reflects on the impact of the emergency measures to counteract the pandemic crisis on the employers’ health and safety duties in their connection with the social security protection for workers. According to the author’s thesis, anti-pandemic emergency-measures should be interpreted as a corollary of the general ordinary principles governing both health and safety protection and the social insurance for accidents at work and professional diseases.
