Contrary to a nowadays widespread idea about philosophy, this brief comment holds that philosophy is autonomous from science. A philosopher can use empirical data as a source for its own work, but this cooperation it is not necessary because philosophy does not try to explain empirical phenomena. A philosopher is not a strange scientist without laboratory. For these reasons there are no philosophical theses that need to be demonstrated. On the contrary a philosopher can help empirical sciences, in particular psychology, to clarify what they really what to explain. Empirical sciences formulate their own problems using common language without paying sufficient attention to this fact. This is philosophy own field, "language games".
