Policies for the development of the property historically grown in Italy were made ??through benefits to growers who wish to become purchasers of funds, which took the form of tax relief or for the acts of transfer or credit facilities in the forms of funding on favorable terms. Among the major tenets of the legislation, it must be reported to the relevance of the theme, the legislative overview regarding the incentives for the formation of small peasant property: this rulemaking process, opened with the L. 604/1954, has undergone significant recent actions by the law 25/2010 and the ‘law of the Stability 2011’.The article closes by introducing doubt that in modern economic-social-environmental instruments designed in this way can be deemed suitable to protect effectively the formation of peasant property in its production function.
