The imminent end of restriction on milk production provides an opportunity to check out some critical profiles that have characterized the operation of the quota system in our country. After a summary of the rules governing the procedures for payment by installments, are analyzed some operational issues which could result in criticism of the Community institutions with regard to Italy’s ability to comply with the European rules.
