The aim of this paper is twofold. At a research level, the aim is to explore theextent to which evidence-based findings of psycho-criminological and clinicalresearch, in line with neuropsychology, biology, and behavioural genetics,can address the process of assessing the risk of future violence, and influenceprevention and intervention. At an intervention level, the aim is to analyse howresearch findings could be applied within the forensic setting, and how thisknowledge could become a valid and reliable source to guide expert testimonyand assessment practice.
