The contribution explores the meanings of the Cloud Research metaphor and aims to identify some new perspectives to endorse relevant research in the Work and Organization Psychology field. Our maintained hypothesis is that significant knowledge can be producedby working with (and not on) people and by confronting with problems that cross realorganizations' life. Such an approach is capable of relaunching and promoting the genuinelypractical and applied hearth of the discipline, as required in order to answer to the challenges produced by the crisis in current complex and unstable organizational contexts. The contribution elaborates on the connection between social relevance and the possibility ofapproaching situated knowledge, which is embedded in a tacit shared order that recursivelyre-produces subjects' system of activity. We reference to a concrete case study to exemplifyand discuss the opportunities and threats that derive from adopting an approach which aimsto produce and analyze situated knowledge in concrete organized contexts.
