This study aims at analyzing the mechanisms that different legalguardianship offer to protect the sick worker: at the international level,making a comparison between the right of the Ilo and the Eu, as in bothSpanish and Italian law. The comparison shows that, depending on thefeatures found in each of these systems, protection is articulated just consideringdisease as a cause of prohibited discrimination or as a manifestationof the constitutional right to health of workers.
