The essay deals with the most recent reform of Italian labour market and mainly regards the changes introduced in the legislation of fixedterm and part-time contract. Attention is focused on the formative process of rules: from the stage of the social agreement between Government and collective parties to the intervention of the Employment Commission of the Camera dei Deputati, up to the final reformulation of the text by the Government. In the Author's opinion, the contradictions and the ambiguities of the formative process do not allow to trace a clear reformatory will and make uncertain also the interpreter's work.
