Since the Thirties of the last century, the French reception of Heidegger's philosophy is marked by the issue of temporality, in particular by the primacy of the future. This hermeneutical point of view produces peculiar concepts of historicity and history. Sartre's reflection on history is deeply influenced by this "milieu". Nevertheless, the article shows the progressive detachment of his philosophy from the Heideggerian roots, proposing that Sartre's philosophical-critical foundation of historical knowledge is a way to rescue history and politics from the logic of future perfect. For this purpose, the paper analyses two Sartre's theoretical paths: the critic of the Heideggerian category of "Geschichtlichkeit"; the materialistic analysis of the «structures of the future» in a defined society inspired by Marx.
