Cloud computing does not only represent a technological paradigm and a critical factor for the growth and development of competitiveness, but is also poised to have a positive impact on the social and economic level, this thanks to the globalization of IT services and to information and data exchange. This new and captivating paradigm, however, needs a specific effort aimed at defining rules, behaviors, and procedures, in such a way as to ensure an adequate protection of rights and privacy.
