The paper analyses the political and literary activity of Giulio Rezasco through the studyof the unpublished archival and book sources kept in the donation of Mario Grossi in theCity of Bolano. After explaining the reasons for the presence of this group of documentsand books in Bolano (in the Province of La Spezia), the author analyses the various typesof papers and publications, highlighting the epistolary network activated by Rezasco duringthe years of the risings in Lunigiana and his relentless political activity pro-Savoy. Theauthor examines the drafts of letters, the transcriptions of classical Latin authors, the collectionsof terms and literary references, as well as the owned books (nucleus of specializedvocabularies) showing the preparatory work for the drafting of Rezasco "Dictionaryof the Italian political and administrative language" published in 1881 by Le Monnier.Finally, the author examines the friendship between Federico Grossi and Giulio Rezascoand their diplomatic activity aimed at submitting to the Subalpine Parliament, through thedeputy Domenico Buffa, the political question of historical Lunigiana.
