In this work we will focalise on what are those factors that a company should regard to have an efficient Supply Chain and the difficulties concern the management of all the relationships between the production point and the final sell point. We would like to start with an introduction on what a Supply Chain is and which are its actors that operate in it to better understand how and in which way they influence throughout the supply chain. Then we will define the Supply Chain Management concept and the activities to work on to achieve good performances. We will go into the Supply Chain Collaboration concept to understand how the companies should be regard it to reduce inefficiencies in the Supply Chain and to get more reliability and responsiveness to market needs. After this we will start to analyse the Supply Chain Performances. Here we will discuss different methods industries can use to determine what supply chain they are in and in addition to calculate how their supply chain is performing. Then we explained Supply chain efficiency and the factors that can affect the efficiency of a supply chain. The reason why we described supply chain efficiency is because by determining how your supply chain is performing you can make your supply chain work at maximum capacity hence improving the efficiency of it. Now we are at a stage where we can begin the thesis.
